What does it mean to be allergen free?

None of our products contain gluten, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts or soy.  We bake everything fresh in our brand-new dedicated kitchen, so there is no risk of cross contamination.  We work with suppliers who are able to guarantee that our ingredients come from dedicated facilities or dedicated lines and have allergen protocols in place where applicable.  Click here to learn more about our ingredients. 

What about Sesame?

None of our products contain sesame and none of the ingredients that enter our facility do either!  Please click here to read more about our stance on sesame. 

What about Coconut?

Since the FDA defines coconut as a tree nut, we do too!  None of our products or ingredients contain coconut.

What is the “Food Release” I see listed in ingredients?

We use Vegalene Allergen Free food release to ensure that your bites and cakes don’t stick to the pans and baking sheets. For more information about this product, please see:

Where can you ship your bites to?

We can ship our bites anywhere in the United States that UPS delivers. 

Why don’t all my bites look identical?

All of our products are made by hand which can lead to a slight variation in each bite. Some may have more chocolate chips or raisins than others and some may have more or less sugar crystals on top.

Can you ship to dorm rooms/hospitals/etc.?

We ship to any location that UPS will deliver to in the United States, however, it is important that the recipient follow up with the relevant mailroom or service to ensure that they receive their bites as soon as they are delivered.  Please also make sure to include as much information as necessary to ensure the package reaches the recipient. 

Are your products certified Kosher?

While our products are Parve, they are not at this point in time certified Kosher. We are working on it!

How many bites should I order?

As many as you want! On average, an adult will eat 3-5 bites for dessert and a child will eat 1-3, but you can order as many as you like! 

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Once your order has been confirmed it cannot be cancelled or modified because our products are baked fresh for you!

How long will my bites stay fresh for?

While all of our bites and cakes have a shelf life of two weeks, we recommend enjoying your treats as soon as they arrive for optimal taste and freshness. Pro tip: some of us love the bites in the refrigerator – and this helps them to stay moist longer too!

Why can't I order a cookie cake to ship to me?

Unfortunately, at this point in time cookie cakes are available for pick up only. During our test shipments, the cakes were arriving to their destinations in less than perfect condition. We are continuing to work on methods to protect the cakes during shipment, and hope to eventually be able to offer them to be delivered nation wide!  

Can I buy corporate gifts or party favors?

We can do corporate gifts and party favors. To inquire about either of those please contact us at info@fomobaking.com with either corporate gift or party favors in the subject. 

Where do the bright icing colors come from?

At FOMO Baking Co. we do not use any artificial coloring. All of our amazing colors for our icing are derived from fruits and vegetables!

What flavors do you offer?

We offer the following flavors - brownie, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, oatmeal chocolate chip, sugar and snickerdoodle. We also working on seasonal flavors so stay tuned to find out what they are. 

Where are the bites baked?

All of our products are baked in our brand new dedicated kitchen in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Why are the shipping rates so high?

We use UPS as our third party carrier and they are able to dictate prices. The shipping rates are calculated based on weight, distance, and transit type, which means the more you ship and the further you ship, the higher the price. As we grow, we hope to be able to negotiate better rates and can pass the savings on to you.

Is an invoice sent in the package?

We do not include invoices in the packages. Your receipt will be sent in your email confirmation for your order.

How can I have a custom gift message added to be sent with my order?
